Argus Commission
|
| The Argus Commission was established by the Claremont Community Foundation to provide a forum for the seeking and sharing of ideas, dreams and visions of former Foundation Board Members. Realizing that these people possess a wealth of knowledge about Claremont and a dedication to our community, the Board felt that a gathering of these individuals on a regular basis would be an invaluable resource for our future. This group will be involved in Strategic Planning for the Foundation. The Argus Commission will seek to identify unmet needs in our valley for services that the Community Foundation might offer or facilitate. It will also assist the Foundation with its advocacy agenda. |

Legacy Society
|
The Claremont Community Foundation has established the Legacy Society to enable donors to leave a heritage to benefit our community in a variety of ways. Through foresight, generosity and philanthropic leadership, Legacy Society donors may make an incredible impact on the future of our community. The Society's purpose is to enable those who are willing and able to plan ahead to provide gifts for a myriad of future grant avenues through the Claremont Community Foundation. These gifts may be in the form of:
A bequest from a Will or Living TrustCharitable Remainder Trust and similar instrumentsRetirement AssetsLife InsuranceLife Estate in a personal residenceOther property that is permitted
A gift might provide an educational scholarship, preserve a part of Claremont's history, or give a young person a chance they never had before. Through these endowment gifts, future generations will be able to address the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. |
