Pomona College, Doms Lounge, Smith Campus Center, 170 E. 6th St.
Pomona College, Turrell Skyspace, Draper Courtyard, NW corner 6th St. and College Way
Claremont

Let's begin with one of the hippest martinis in town. Your choice: Pomegranate or Lychee, each expertly fashioned by Claremont's very own Lisa Copenhaver, of Tutti Mangia fame. Of course, hearty hors d'oeuvres will be in abundance. Sit back and absorb the ambiance of Doms Lounge, a slinky little secret of Pomona College, as you prepare for Act II of the evening: Dividing the Light, the James Turrell skyspace. Heightening your awareness of light and sky, Skyspace should not be missed. Steve Comba, Assistant Director of the Pomona College Museum of Art, and Jim Mitchell, sculptor and owner of Amazing Steel, will take you on the sunset tour, describing the history, construction process and experience of the one-hour lighting program. (Bring a blanket if it's chilly.)

$50 per person
Capacity: 50 guests

Hosts:
Kim Nykanen and Steve Comba
Lisa Copenhaver
Suzanne Hall and Ken Corhan
Janell and Randall Lewis
Michelle and Jim Mitchell
Don Pattison
Christine Kenmore and Eric Sanders
